Last weekend kicked off with a friday crawfish boil here in Paducah at our good friend over a Western Rivers! Amazing food and a great way to get the season started. Thanks to all the fine folks who came down to Roberts Western World in Nashville last Saturday. The pH Balanced party was an amazing time. Also thanks to Phil Harris for hosting and to the Campbell Brothers for holding down the honky tonk. Tonight I will be returning to Barnhart, MO to the Oaktree House Concerts as part of the John Hartford Memorial Festivals Pre-Party Series. Ryan Spearman will also be performing. Show starts around 7! It's going to be good time back in the hills of Missouri!

Last weekend was a great time at the 2012 St. Louis Flatpick event. Major thanks to Tyler Grant and Bull and Tammy Harman. Great instruction and music by Tim May, Dan Miller, and the Harper Family. Fun times and great picking at the Crown Plaza.

Next Saturday is the Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center’s 2012 Men Who Cook Benefit. Come on out and share an evening of great food and music for a good cause. Doors open at 6:00 and the Solid Rocket Boosters will kick off around 7:30. Hope to see you there!
